Barrel and Banter offers ideas for pairing drinks and food, articles, quizzes and an AI chat guide. It is for information and enjoyment only. We do not sell alcohol and we do not deliver anything.

3. The AI chat

  • Answers are created by artificial intelligence and can be incomplete or wrong.
  • They are suggestions, not guarantees, and not professional advice.
  • We limit the number and length of questions to keep the service available for everyone.
  • Please do not enter personal, confidential or sensitive information.

4. Acceptable use

When you use the site, you agree not to:

  • break the law or encourage others to;
  • try to get around the age check or the usage limits;
  • send spam, harmful, hateful or illegal content;
  • use bots, scrapers or automated tools to copy the site or overload it;
  • try to break, probe or misuse the chat, for example by trying to make it ignore its rules;
  • use the site to promote alcohol to minors.

We may block access if these rules are broken.

5. Our content

The text, design, photographs and other material on the site belong to Barrel and Banter or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright. Many images are created with AI tools. You may share links and short quotes with credit. Please ask us before copying more, or using anything commercially.

We may mention drinks and brands. They are not connected to us unless we say so, and their names belong to their owners. Links to other sites are for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is". We do not promise that it will always work, be free of errors, or be suitable for your needs. Prices, availability and product details can change, and we do not guarantee them. Please also read our Disclaimer.

8. Limits on our responsibility, and use at your own risk

You use the site, and rely on anything on it, entirely at your own risk. The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Barrel and Banter and its owners, operators, contributors and service providers are not liable for any loss, damage, injury or cost of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive, including loss of money, data, profit, health or reputation, that arises from or relates to the site, its content, the AI chat, drinks or food you choose, or anything you do or decide because of them, even if we were told it was possible. If a court decides we are liable despite this, our total liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows, and in any case no more than what you paid us to use the site, which is nothing.

Indemnity. You agree to defend and hold Barrel and Banter and its owners, operators and service providers harmless from any claim, loss or cost that arises from your use of the site or your breach of these terms.

This site is available worldwide, and you are responsible for following the laws of the place where you are. To the extent the law allows, you agree to bring any claim against us only in the courts of the place where we operate, and only on an individual basis, not as part of a class, group or representative action. Consumer rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot legally be waived are not affected.
